Behind the Scenes of My Life: Family, Business, and Big Visions

 

Greetings Friends, Family & Supporters!

It recently occurred to me that I rarely share much about myself these days. I really INjoy interacting with you all and sharing the occasional life update.

Lately, my focus has been on building my businesses: ONYX Restorative Justice, The Black Women's Entrepreneurial Collective (BWEC) ecosystem, and Flourishing From the Roots—while advancing exciting projects and creating innovative opportunities for Black women entrepreneurs and our supporters to increase their visibility, expand their networks, strengthen their businesses, develop new income streams, and access meaningful learning, teaching, and earning opportunities.

Some of you may already know that I'm a homeschooling educator to my daughter and the creator of the Raising Royalty Homeschooling Guide. I also provide homeschooling consultations for families seeking support with creating customized learning experiences, educational structure, and confidence in their homeschooling journey. My days are busy, productive, and purpose-driven, and now I'm ready for what's next.

My daily empowerment affirmations are deeply focused on building the leading Black woman-owned business and wellness firm serving Black women globally. It's happening in real time, and I want to slow down enough to share more of the journey and celebrate more of the wins with you all as I continue navigating business and life.

In this blog post, I'm excited to share photos from a recent visit with family while also attending the NAACP Freedom Fund Luncheon. It was a wonderful experience spending time with loved ones, seeing my youngest son attend prom and receive a monetary award from the NAACP, and enjoying good drinks, great vibes, and even better company!
